KENNESAW, Ga. – Chance Cross and
Kali Terza will represent Kennesaw State at the 2026 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships at the Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Ark. on March 13-14.
Cross will compete in the 60m and Terza will compete in the weight throw for the Owls. To qualify for the NCAA Indoor Championships, individuals must finish in the top-16 nationally in their specific event or top-12 in relay at the end of the season.
Cross qualified for the 60m running a time of 6.54 at the Tiger Paw Invitational. That time set a school record in the event and ranks tied for 10th in the NCAA this season.
He will run in the 60m semifinal on Friday, March 13 and will need to finish in the top eight to advance to the final on March 14.
Cross is the first sprinter in program history to qualify for the NCAA Indoor Championships.
Terza will compete in the weight throw preliminary round at 8:30 p.m. ET on Mar. 13 and if she finishes in the top nine, she will compete in the finals that same evening. The Woodstock, Ga. native landed a toss of 22.50m (73'10") to win the bronze medal at the USATF Indoor Championships. That mark set a school record and ranks tied for tied for sixth in the NCAA this season.
Terza will be the first athlete to represent the Owls at the NCAA Indoor Championships in the weight throw.
