Weather Report
Friday's forecast for Kennesaw calls for temperatures near 80 degrees. Saturday is expected to be sunny, cooler and pleasant, with a high of 70.
Hurdle Time
The KSU men's hurdles group has high expectations this season. The unit is led by juniors Mohamed Diaby and Joshua Jones, along with sophomore Cameron Guadiano. Freshman Marion Clark shined during the indoor season and is expected to carry that momentum outdoors. Jones and Guadiano are scheduled to compete in the 110-meter hurdles Saturday.
The KSU women's hurdles squad features depth and is expected to contend in Conference USA. Natalie Harris, Tickia Sutton, Amelia Coker, Simone Bernard, Jasmine Gaither, Alina Harris, Hannah Cheek and Madison Maxey could rewrite the top 10 of the KSU record book this season. Eight of these athletes are scheduled to compete in the 100-meter hurdles Saturday afternoon.
Alumni Back to Compete
Lloyd Hill Jr., Kelvin Campbell and Justin Campbell will return to the Nest to compete. Britney Chatfield (400m) and Noah Jirgens (hammer throw), whose careers wrapped up last month, also will be in action.
Honoring the Senior Class
KSU will honor Britney Chatfield, Lilly Chouinard, Chance Cross, Matthew Hall, Myesha Hall, Keira Hight, Jase Hunter, Noah Jirgens, Victoria Joyce, Harrison Pawsat, Riley Perlakowski, Simon Side, Kali Terza and Eric Young II in a ceremony at 11:45 a.m. This senior class is one of the winningest in program history, having won seven conference championships, produced two All-Americans and set multiple school records.

KSU broke three school records at the Yellow Jacket Invitational last weekend in Atlanta. Kali Teza (hammer throw), Emma Sullivan (400m) and Joshua Jones (400m hurdles) each set new program records.
