KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State third-year head coach
Antoine Pettway has been named a finalist for the 2025-26 Skip Prosser Man of the Year Award, CollegeInsider.com announced this week. The award is presented annually to the Division I coach who wins with integrity on and off the court, and is named after the former Wake Forest coach. The recipient of the annual award is determined by a 10-member voting committee, which consists of current and former head coaches, as well as two senior staff members of collegeinsider.com.
Pettway is the first coach in Kennesaw State men's basketball history (Division I era) to lead the Owls to consecutive winning seasons, as the Owls are currently 18-11 overall. He has guided a team that played the majority of its Conference USA schedule without its top two scorers to its current 10-8 mark in league play and to sole possession of fourth place.
Looking at the D1 era at Kennesaw State, he recently became the fastest coach to reach 50 wins at KSU, reaching that milestone in just his 91
st career game. Currently is 52-41 in his three seasons, he is the first coach at KSU to hold a career winning percentage (.559). His 26 career conference wins are also the most-ever by a coach at KSU, while the Owls have now posted back-to-back double-digit conference win totals for the first-time ever.
NEXT TIME OUT: The Owls will finish the regular season with a pair of games in the Southwest, starting with Thursday's nationally televised game on CBS Sports Network at UTEP in El Paso, Texas. The game will tip off at 9 p.m. (ET).
