STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Kali Terza and Isaiah Rogers excelled on the national stage at the 2026 USATF Indoor Championships over the weekend.
Terza won the weight throw at the CUSA Indoor Championship on Friday before traveling to New York for her USATF Indoor Championships debut. She recorded a career-best toss of 22.50 meters (73'10") to earn the bronze medal. The mark is tied for sixth in the NCAA this season.
Rogers claimed his first gold medal at the USATF Indoor Championships on Saturday, winning the weight throw with a toss of 23.41 meters (76'9.75). His victory marked KSU's fourth men's title at the event since 2019.
Rogers' training partner and fellow former Owl, Daniel Haugh, won the event at the USATF Indoor Championships in 2019, 2023 and 2024. Haugh holds the world record in the men's weight throw.
