KENNESAW, Ga. –  Kennesaw State women's lacrosse begins the 2026 season on the road on Monday afternoon against a brand new Florida State team, playing in only its second ever game in program history. The 1 p.m. match will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra.

A FEW NOTES

» Although the Seminoles are in their inaugural season as a program, their head coach, Sara Tisdale, is a veteran of the field, making stops at Augustana, Central Michigan, and Eastern Michigan. She is no stranger to the Owls, as during her time at Central Michigan, the Owls went 3-1 against the Chippewas.

» KSU returns eight starters from last season, led by All-Conference senior midfielder, Shannon Harrington, who anchored the Owls offense with a team high 51 goals. She is accompanied by star sophomores, Lexi Tinker and Marleigh Belinfanti, who both should have major roles in the offense after they were selected to the ASUN All-Freshman Team.

» The defense will be anchored by a trio of seniors: Lauren Dobbs, Kendal Elison, and Aislinn Pendergast, each of whom had at least 16 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers.

» The 19 KSU returnees are joined by 15 newcomers, including four transfers.
