Terza and Rogers Set to Compete at USATF Indoor Championships

KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State track and field program will be well-represented at the 2026 USATF Indoor Championships, as one current Owl and one alum compete on the national stage this weekend.

Isaiah Rogers will participate in the men's weight throw on Saturday at 12:45 p.m. inside the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island, New York. Rogers became KSU's first indoor national champion when he won the weight throw with a mark of 24.23m (79-6) in 2023. He remains the school record holder in the men's weight throw with a mark of 24.37m (79-11.5), set in January 2023. Rogers has won the weight throw in all three meets he has competed in this season. This will be his fourth consecutive USATF Indoor Championship.

Kali Terza will compete in the weight throw at the Conference USA Championships on Friday before heading to New York on Saturday. She is scheduled to throw at 11:45 a.m. Sunday, March 1, for a chance to add a USATF gold medal to her indoor career at KSU. Terza has a career-best mark of 21.71m (71-2.75), set at the Clemson Opener in December. Her mark set a school record and ranks No. 14 in the NCAA this season.
