KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State track and field heads to Lynchburg, Va. for the Conference USA Indoor Track & Field Championships for the second year in a row, Friday and Saturday, Feb. 27-28, at the Brant Tolsma Indoor Track at the Liberty Indoor Track Complex.
The KSU men's squad will attempt to claim its 12th indoor conference championship, following 11 ASUN titles and the 2025 CUSA crown. A win would give KSU its third consecutive indoor team title, beginning with the 2024 ASUN Championship. The KSU women are seeking to become the first Owl program to win a CUSA Championship on the women's side. KSU won three ASUN indoor titles in 2017, 2021, 2024.
In 2025, the KSU men's team collected its first Conference USA Indoor Track and Field Championship title, scoring 154 points in the two-day meet. The men became the first KSU program to win a Conference USA title since joining the league July 1, 2024. The Owls also ended the Liberty men's run of 27-consecutive indoor titles at the Division I level. The KSU women placed second in their first CUSA indoor meet.
This year's meet will feature 12 women's teams (Delaware, FIU, Jacksonville State, Kennesaw State, Liberty, Louisiana Tech, Missouri State, Middle Tennessee, New Mexico State, Sam Houston, UTEP and Western Kentucky) and seven men's squads (Kennesaw State, Liberty, Louisiana Tech, Middle Tennessee, Sam Houston, UTEP and Western Kentucky). Delaware and Missouri State both joined CUSA on July 1, 2025.
