KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State men's basketball continues its season-opening homestand as the Owls will face former Atlantic Sun rival Austin Peay on Friday night at 7 p.m. in VyStar Arena. The game will be streamed live on ESPN+.
A FEW NOTES
• Friday marks the first of two games against Austin Peay this season, as the Owls will make the trip over to Clarkesville, Tenn. in the first half of December for the second contest.
• The teams have met twice before, with each team winning on their home court. This will be the second time the Owls have faced Austin Peay under Coach Pettway.
• KSU's freshmen class was outstanding in the season opener, as freshman Kyler Theophile and Antwane Daniels were 1-2 on the team in scoring with 18 and 12 points, respectively, while Levi Ball was tied third with 11. All told, the six first-years scored 62 points, all off the bench.
