Top Storylines:

•  Kennesaw State football returns to Saturdays and to Walens Family Field at Fifth Third Stadium to host Delaware for Homecoming on Saturday, Nov. 7.

• The Owls and Fightin’ Blue Hens will meet for the first time in program history in Delaware’s second season as a member of Conference USA.

•  The Owls are coming off a terrific 44-28 road victory over Middle Tennessee, that saw r-Jr. QB Rickie Collins throw for three touchdowns and r-So. RB Boogie Woods III ran for two more, while r-So. LB Tywon Christopher registered the first pick six of the season for CUSA.

• Under head coach Jerry Mack, the Owls have enjoyed a strong home-field advantage, sitting at 7-3 since 2025 at home.

• In a season plagued by heartbreaking losses (three by three points or less), Kennesaw State will look to Fifth Third Stadium to again be a source of energy, as the Owls are 14-5 all-time at home in one possession games.

• Through eight games and four league matchups, KSU’s offense ranks top-4 in CUSA in five offensive categories (completion percentage - 1st; red zone offense - 1st; tackles for loss allowed - 2nd; sacks allowed - 3rd; and first downs - 4th).

•  Since the start of last season, only Army (7), Rice and Virginia (6) have produced more 100-yard rushers than Kennesaw State’s six.

• On defense, Christopher has been a wrecking ball the last four games, amassing a combined 41 tackles, 5.0 tackles for loss, a forced fumble and a pick six.

•  Christopher was named Conference USA Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts in last week’s win over MTSU - his second honor of the season.

• After recovering  five fumbles over the first five games, the defense has now recorded four interceptions over the last four games.

• Also receiving notice from last week’s win was r-Sr. WR Davis Bryson, who had one of his best games since transitioning to wide receiver following the 2024 season.

• Bryson totaled 147 all-purpose yards with a career-high 71 kickoff return yards to earn CUSA’s Special Teams Player of the Week. To go along with 30 rushing yards and 46 receiving yards, the veteran captain also hauled in his first-career touchdown reception.
