KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State men's basketball officially opens the 2026-27 season on Monday night, as they host Midway in a 7 p.m. contest from VyStar Arena. The game will be streamed live on ESPN+.
A FEW NOTES
• Kennesaw State, the defending Conference USA champions, enter the season as one of the favorites to top the league this year after bringing back thee starters from last year's NCAA squad.
• For the first time since 2013-14, Kennesaw State will start off the season with four straight games at home.
• Kennesaw State is looking to win its season opener for the fifth straight season. This is also the fifth straight year KSU has opened at home.
• All-time in the Division I era, KSU is 9-12 in season openers, and 17-4 in their home opener.

The Champions Fund is a newly created, 100% tax deductible, philanthropic opportunity to contribute strategic revenue to Kennesaw State Athletics, with the goal of strengthening our ability to recruit and retain top-tier talent in this new era of collegiate athletics.
