BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Kennesaw State men's basketball starts a three-game road swing this weekend as the Owls are on the road at Western Kentucky in Bowling Green, Ky., for a 3 p.m. (ET) contest. The game will be streamed live on ESPN+.

A FEW NOTES
♦ Kennesaw State comes into the weekend coming off a thrilling finish in the home win over FIU on Wednesday night, as the Owls trailed by 13 points in the second half before finishing the game on an 8-0 run over the final four minutes to claim the victory. The Owls did not allow a field goal by the Panthers in the final seven minutes of the contest.
♦ The Owls are scoring at high rate this season, currently 16th in the nation at 88.9 points per game, which easily leads Conference USA.
♦ KSU has always been a fast-paced team under Pettway, and that's not changing in his third year at the helm of the Owls. KSU ranked in the top five in the nation in adjusted tempo in his first year and currently is ninth at 73.9 (possessions per 40 minutes).
♦ KSU is having another strong year in the boards as well, ranking second in the nation in total rebounds per game (44.8 rpg) and 22nd in rebound margin (+8.9) in the nation.
♦ It's also been a strong year defensively for the Owls as well, currently 30th in the nation in field goal defense at 39.6%. The school record for best field goal defense in a season was set a year ago, as the 2024-25 squad limited teams to 41.4% from the floor.
