Hall's Victory Highlights KSU Performance at Vanderbilt Invitational Friday

NASHVILLE, Tenn.Myesha Hall won the long jump at the Vanderbilt Invitational on Friday with a leap of 6.13 meters (20'1.5").

Her mark ranks fourth in program history and highlighted day one of competition for Kennesaw State in Nashville.
 
Men's recap
Noah Jirgens placed fifth in the weight throw with a toss of 18.80 meters (61'8.25") in his Kennesaw State debut. He was followed by Harrison Pawsat, who finished sixth with a mark of 18.06 meters (59'3"), and Evan Martinez, who placed seventh at 17.32 meters (56'10").

Simon Seid cleared 5.00 meters (16'4.75") to place sixth in the pole vault.

Justin Warner narrowly missed the school record in the 1,000 meters, running 2:32.78 to place 19th overall. The time ranks second in program history.
 
Women's recap
Kali Terza placed sixth in the weight throw with a mark of 19.78 meters (64'10.75"), followed by Maya Steines in seventh at 18.46 meters (60'6.75") and Mary Gill in eighth at 18.13 meters (59'5.75").

Emma Ferguson finished fourth in the 1,000 meters with a time of 2:48.68, while Riley Perlakowski placed seventh in 2:50.72.

The women's distance medley relay team of Mayson Humpert, Emma Sullivan, Kelly Miles and Sammy Hartman finished fourth with a time of 12:03.88.
