KENNESAW Ga. – The Kennesaw State and Tennessee Tech women's soccer teams ended in a scoreless draw on Sunday afternoon.

Sara Hill started in her second collegiate match, finishing with five saves in the shutout.

Coach Chris Cahill's Remarks:
"It was good to see that we kept a clean sheet tonight," Cahill said. "We certainly bent but didn't break at times. Overall, it wasn't the result we wanted but to learn how to grind through games is something we can build on as we prepare for this week."

First Half

The Golden Eagles were the first to take a shot on goal in the 17th minute. Hill dove to save the shot from inside the box.

Halfway through the first KSU pressured TTU in its defensive third. Following a free kick opportunity, Rebecca Womer took a shot on the near-side post that was saved.

Possession went back and forth until the half ended.

Second Half

The Black and Gold came out in the second half attacking with Caroline Shaw getting two shots on target within the first ten minutes.

The best chance for either side came in the 71st minute. Following a point-blank save by Hill, Tennessee Tech's Anna Baker attempted a shot that deflected off the post and was inches from clearing the goal line. The Owls were able to kick the ball out of play and keep the game tied.

The final moments were played in the Owls' defensive third but they held off the Golden Eagles until the final whistle blew.
