2025 Roster
KENNESAW, Ga. - Heading into his second campaign, coach
Chris Cahill finalized the 2025 women's soccer schedule Thursday afternoon. The ledger is highlighted by nine home matches and three in-state battles.
KSU begins its 24th season of competition at home with two exhibition games versus Presbyterian (8/4) and Troy (8/10), with both matches occurring at 7 p.m. at Fifth Third Stadium. The Owls will host the Memphis Tigers Aug. 21 for the regular season home opener.
2025 Schedule Highlights:
- Battles two teams that cracked the 2024 NCAA tournament (Auburn & Missouri State);
- Slated to face three in the Peach State rivals (Georgia State, Ga. Southern & Mercer);
- Faces three first-time opponents (Coastal Carolina, Missouri State & Delaware);
- Finish the non-conference season strong with three straight home games versus Tennessee Tech (9/7), Ga. Southern (9/10) and Bellarmine (9/14);
- Host the defending CUSA champions in FIU (9/25) after taking them down 3-0 in the 2024 season;
- Face a lengthy road stretch in mid-October traveling to UTEP (10/4), Liberty (10/9) and Delaware (10/12) consecutively -- The estimated travel over those eight days is nearly 4,000 miles;
- Cahill has reloaded the roster with eight newcomers bolstered by three in-state players and one Canadian product;
- Graduate Rebecca Womer and junior Sydni Whitehead signify the two transfers on the squad from Georgia and Bellarmine, respectively.
