KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State football will head to the University of Tennessee to take on the Volunteers on Sept. 19, 2026, it was announced Wednesday.
The trip will mark KSU head coach
Jerry Mack's return to Knoxville, having spent three years as the running backs coach at Tennessee (2021-23).
Other connections to the Volunteers on the Owls' staff include offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach
Mitch Militello (2021-24), special teams coordinator/tight ends coach
Kyle Blocker (2022-23), and running backs coach
