KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State women's lacrosse will be back in action on Thursday with a 3 p.m. contest against Jacksonville at Fifth Third Stadium. The game will be streamed live on ESPN+.
A FEW NOTES
» Thursday's game will be the second in a three-day stretch, as the Owls have a Saturday morning road battle set at Queens in Charlotte.
» KSU comes into the contest at 1-1 after claiming a 17-14 road win at Stetson this past Saturday, which was also the team's first conference victory since the 2023 season. The Owls are now looking to surpass last year's win total, and to claim their first-ever win over JU in the all-time series.
» The Dolphins came into the year picked second in the preseason poll, but are one of just three undefeated teams in league play at 1-0.
» Preseason All-Atlantic Sun selection Shannon Harrington is pacing the Owls this season with a team-high 36 goals which ranks her 31st in the nation and tops in the Atlantic Sun. Senior co-captain Alyssa Angelo meanwhile is actually the team lead in total points thanks to 21 goals and a team-high 23 assists for 44 total points. Her 23 assists are currently the 30th-highest total in the NCAA. Next on the team in goals is a pair of freshmen in Marleigh Belinfanti and Lexi Tinker with 19 each.
