KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State women's lacrosse plays its first road game of the month as the Owls go down to the Sunshine State to face Stetson in DeLand on Saturday. The game will start at 1 p.m. and is scheduled to be streamed live on ESPN+.
A FEW NOTES
» The Owls close out March with its first road game of the month, as KSU will take on Stetson in Deland, Fla., in the 12th all-time meeting between the two conference rivals.
» Both teams are also looking for their first Atlantic Sun victory of the season. KSU rallied for a fourth-quarter lead against Lindenwood this past weekend before the Lions scored the final five goals to hold on for the win in a high-scoring 22-18 contest. Stetson meanwhile has lost double-digit contests to both Liberty and Jacksonville, but have three non-conference victories this month.
» Preseason All-Atlantic Sun selection Shannon Harrington is pacing the Owls this season with a team-high 34 goals for 38 points. Senior co-captain Alyssa Angelo meanwhile is actually the team lead in total points thanks to 19 goals and a team-high 22 assists for 41 total points. Next on the team in scoring is a pair of freshmen in Marleigh Belinfanti (15 goals, 21 points) and Lexi Tinker (14 goals).
