KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State women's tennis team picked up a 6-1 victory over Mercer on the Betty Siegel Courts Tuesday.

KSU won the doubles point and five singles matches to secure the win. The win was the Owls fourth consecutive win over the Bears in the series.

"We had a really good day today across the board," Director of Tennis
Matt Emery said. "We showed a lot of grit at the end of the doubles to secure that point. And then we did a good job of carrying that momentum into the singles and not letting our foot off the gas. This team has had what feels like 10,000 things thrown at them this season. They are as resilient of a group as I've ever coached, and I couldn't be more proud of them."

KSU won the doubles point with a pair of tight wins on courts one and two.
Ema Baraniakova and
Sofia Madrid picked up to a 7-6 (7-4) win on court one to tie things up at double.
Izabelle Perrson and
Sophia Unger collected a 7-6 (9-7) win on court two.

Ema Baraniakova (6-3, 6-1),
Izabelle Persson (6-2, 6-1) and
