KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State men's tennis team secured a 5-2 win over UNC Asheville on Saturday at the Betty Siegel Courts.
 
"Thanks to everyone who came out today to support a great cause and spread awareness for Epilepsy," assistant head coach 
Simon Pritchard said. "The guys did a good job of defending the Nest again. The freshmen have been working really hard since they arrived in January and we got to see some of that hard work pay off this weekend! "
 
The Owls won the doubles point with a pair of 6-2 wins on courts two and three by  
Mikolaj Lis and 
Anthony Weingarten (court two) and 
Sam Baldwin and 
Erik Vladimirov (court three)
 
Mikolaj Lis (6-2, 6-3), 
Anthony Weingarten (6-3, 7-5) and  
Erik Vladimirov (6-0, 6-4) all earned straight set singles wins. 
Xavi Ferrer (4-6, 6-4, 6-3) secured a win in three sets.

The Owls will host South Carolina State on Wednesday, March 5 at 3 p.m.
