KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State women's lacrosse begins the 2025 season on the road with a Friday night contest at South Florida at 7 p.m., followed by a Sunday morning match at ninth-ranked Florida at 11 a.m., and both games will be streamed live on ESPN+.
A FEW NOTES
» While USF is a brand new program, the coach on the other side of the field is very familiar to the Owls as Mindy McCord was the long-time coach at Jacksonville and led the Dolphins to numerous Atlantic Sun championships and NCAA berths before taking over as the first-ever coach for the Bulls.
» This will be the fourth all-time meeting with KSU and the Gators, and the first since the 2022 season.
» KSU is returning seven starters from a season ago, highlighted by senior midfielder
Hannah Davis and junior attacker
Shannon Harrington, while junior
Lauren Dobbs is expected to lead the defensive effort. There will be a change in the KSU goal after the graduation of a pair of senior goaltenders in the offseason. This year, the Owls will turn to senior
Natalia Cruz, while backing her up will be a pair of freshmen in
Roxy Surridge and
Mia Nardi.
