KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State men's basketball continues its four-game homestand on Thursday when it hosts Western Kentucky. The game tips off at 7 p.m. in the Convocation Center, and will be streamed live on ESPN+.

A FEW NOTES
♦ Kennesaw State enters the second half of its first year of Conference USA play in a six-way tie for third place in the league standings at 5-4. With just four games on the slate for the back half, that gives even more importance to this week's games for the Owls to remain in the top half of CUSA.
♦ The Owls are looking to avenge this year's loss in Bowling Green, a 16-point loss where KSU trailed by over 20 in the first half after a cold half of shooting from outside. KSU rallied within single digits in the second half before eventually dropping the road contest on Jan. 11.
♦ The Owls have one of the top home court advantages in the nation over the past three years. Since the start of the 2022-23 season, KSU is 34-6 on its home court, including 10-1 this year.
♦ A huge difference for Kennesaw State this year is its work on the defensive side. A year ago, the Owls ranked 186th in field goal percentage defense and 263rd in three-point percentage defense. KSU has made a complete turnaround in 2024-25, ranking 53rd in the nation in field goal defense at 40.9%, which is also sixth in Conference USA.
♦ KSU has been pounding the boards this season, as the Owls currently rank fourth in the nation in rebounding at 42.6 per game, which paces Conference USA. They are also 19th in rebound margin at +7.2, second-best in the league.
♦ Guard Adrian Wooley is currently the sixth-highest scoring freshman in the nation at 18.2 ppg.
♦ KSU's freshman class is currently the third-highest scoring freshman class in the nation at 40.1 points per game, trailing only Duke (49.8 ppg) and Rutgers (44.4 ppg).
