KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State women's lacrosse closes out the opening month of play with a road match Wednesday at in-state rival Mercer in Macon. The game will start at 4 p.m. at Five Star Stadium.
A FEW NOTES
» KSU will be playing its seventh game of the season and fifth on the road with Wednesday's contest. Mercer meanwhile is 0-3 on the season, with two of the losses coming at home against South Florida (11-8) and Vanderbilt (19-7).
» The Owls are looking for their first win in the 10-game series since 2015, and their first-ever win in Macon.
» Preseason All-Atlantic Sun selection
Shannon Harrington is pacing the Owls this season, with team-highs in goals (18) and points (21). Also having scored in double-figures this year are seniors
Alyssa Angelo and
Hannah Davis, with 10 goals each, while Angelo also has nine assists for 19 points.
