KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State women's lacrosse is playing on the road for the fourth time in the first five games of the season as KSU will face Gardner-Webb on Wednesday afternoon in Boiling Springs, N.C. in a 4 p.m. contest.
A FEW NOTES
» This will be the eighth meeting between the two schools, and the Owls hold a commanding 6-1 lead, which includes last season's 28-17 victory in Kennesaw.
» Preseason All-Atlantic Sun selection
Shannon Harrington is pacing the Owls on offense so far this season with a team-high 10 goals. She's tied for the team lead in points with 12, as senior co-captain
Alyssa Angelo has posted five goals and a team-high seven assists. Freshman
Lexi Tinker is third in scoring meanwhile with six points (three goals, three assists).
» Following this contest, the Owls will then have a run of five straight weekends with a home contest, starting with Saturday's battle against Furman at Fifth Third Stadium.
