KENNESAW, Ga.  – Kennesaw State men's basketball continued its record-setting start to the season with a new scoring standard, as the Owls exploded for a new D1 school record for points in a game with Monday afternoon's 121-66 victory over Southern Wesleyan. Six players hit double-figures as KSU moved to 8-2 on the year with its final home game of the non-conference season.

A 12-0 run, that featured points from five different Owls, put KSU up 27-6 with 11:08 to play. The Warriors did close the margin to 16, before Simeon Cottle scored eight straight to spark a 34-7 run to end the half and give KSU a 65-22 advantage going into the break. SWU would hit seven three-pointers in the second half to keep it from a complete blowout, but the Owls still scored 56 in the second stanza to close out the 55-point victory.
