Kennesaw State Football Inks 18 For 2025 Signing Class

KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State football announced the addition of 18 student-athletes on Wednesday as part of the 2025 December Signing Day.
 
The 18 signees include 13 high school seniors and five junior college transfers. Fifteen signees will enroll early at Kennesaw State in January and will participate in all football-related activities.
 
"We're really excited to welcome these 18 young men to the Kennesaw State family," head coach Jerry Mack said. "This class is extremely talented and I feel really good about what these men add to our program. Our coaches did a terrific job identifying and ultimately signing this class, and I can't wait to get most of them here in January."

Mississippi Gulf Coast (2025): Appeared in 10 games, helping lead the Bulldogs to a 9-2 record … Finished with 25 tackles (eight solo), while recording 2.5 tackles for loss and a sack.

High School: Helped lead West Jones to two state championships – 2020 and 2024 … Named second-team all-State and first-team all-Region as a senior … Tallied 76 tackles, 4.0 sacks and 18 tackles for loss … As a junior, recorded 64 tackles, 1.0 sacks and 11 tackles for loss … Named to dean's list in 2024 and president's list in 2025.
 
Enrico Maghelli – OL – 6-5, 300 – Cancun, Mexico/IMG Academy

High School: Rated as a three-star recruit by 247Sports … Surrendered only 0.5 sacks as a senior, earning IMG Academy's Trenches MVP award … Named a team captain as a junior, not allowing a single sack all season … Also named a captain as a sophomore, allowing zero sacks … Named an IMG Ascender All-Star for his academic success in November 2024.
 
Chase Richardson – OL – 6-3, 300 – Brunswick, Ga./Brunswick HS

High School: Rated as a three-star recruit by 247Sports … Three-year letterwinner, helped lead Brunswick to three region championships … Allowed four sacks total for his high school career … Named first-team all-region after not surrendering a single sack as a senior … Allowed only one sack his junior year, earning first first-team all-region … Named second-team all-region as a sophomore after allowing three sacks total that year … A/B Honor Roll student … Has three siblings.
 
Montra Sanford – LB – 6-4, 260 – Charleston, Miss./Charleston (Northwest Mississippi CC)

Northwest Mississippi CC (2024-25): Rated as a three-star JUCO recruit by 247Sports … Helped lead Northwest to a 10-1 record (5-1 conference) and a second-straight MACCC Championship (16-13 over Mississippi Gulf Coast) … Made second-straight NJCAA Division I Football Playoff appearance, playing No. 1-ranked Hutchinson on Saturday, Dec. 6 … Appeared in 11 games in 2025, recording 26 tackles (12 solo), in addition to 5.0 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks … Also tallied a QB hurry and two pass breakups … Had his best game of the season against Coahoma CC, recording four tackles, two TFL's and a 9-yard sack … Helped Northwest to a 10-2 overall record, the MACCC Championship and an appearance in the NJCAA Division I Football Playoffs last season ... High School: Rated as a three-star recruit by ESPN, 247Sports, and Rivals/On3 … Three-year letterwinner at Thomas County Central … Helped lead the Yellow Jackets to a 13-0 (5-0) record his senior season … Recorded 56 tackles (39 solo) with 12.0 tackles for loss and 3.0 sacks … Also tallied six QB hurries … Hauled his first career interception in 2025 as well … Recorded 98 tackles, a forced fumble and a recovery, as well as a sack his junior season … Named second-team all-region as a junior … Named team freshman defensive MVP … Has two siblings.

Chase Tatum – TE – 6-3, 245 – Cartersville, Ga./Cass HS

High School: Rated as a three-star recruit by 247Sports and Rivals/On3 … Four-year letterwinner, helped lead Cass to a region championship as a senior … Named first-team all-region … Hauled in 24 catches for 293 yards and seven touchdowns … Named second-team all-region as a junior … Caught 13 passes for 136 yards and two touchdowns … Earned second-team all-region as a sophomore after recording 23 receptions for 303 yards and one touchdown … As a freshman, was named honorable mention all-region, making four catches for 41 yards and one TD … A/B Honor Roll student.

Mississippi Gulf Coast (2025): Rated as a three-star JUCO recruit by 247Sports … In his second year at MGCCC, he led the nation (NJCAA) in passing yards per game (299.6), total passing yards (3,296), touchdowns (31), efficiency (177.6) and fewest interceptions (14) … Completed 210-of-316 passes on the year … As a freshman, started all 10 games ... Completed 166-of-264 passes for 2,242 yards, 27 touchdowns and 10 interceptions ... Led the MACCC in completion percentage (62.9, 3rd in NJCAA), passing yards (2,242, 5th in NJCAA), touchdowns (27, 3rd in NJCAA), yards per attempt (8.5, 3rd in NJCAA) and QB efficiency (160.4, 3rd in NJCAA) ... Boogie Woods III – RB – 5-10, 195 – Jacksonville, Fla./University Christian (Mississippi Gulf Coast)

Mississippi Gulf Coast (2025): Led the Bulldogs in rushing last year in 11 games played … Took 166 carries for 928 yards (75.4 yards per game) and nine touchdowns … Averaged 5.0 yards per carry … Also hauled in 28 receptions for 324 yards, averaging 11.6 yards per catch … With 10 kickoff return yards, finished last season with 1,007 all-purpose yards (91.5 per game).

Georgia Southern (2024): Appeared in one game and redshirted.
