KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State soccer coach Chris Cahill has gone in-conference for the Owls' latest addition, inking Jax State transfer Symone Dorsey.

"It's great to bring a player back home, especially one that comes with CUSA experience," Cahill said. "I believe Symone has the tools mentally and physically that will allow us flexibility in how we play.  Symone will be a great ambassador for KSU and the local community having grown up right down the road. I'm looking forward to the competitiveness she will bring as we build an identity this spring."

Dorsey spent her freshman year as a rotational defender for the Gamecocks, appearing in 17 matches with five-straight starts to end the season.

It'll be a homecoming for Dorsey, who attended Lassiter High School in Marietta, Ga.

At Lassiter, she was named to the all-region team twice and received the team's Midfielder of the Year award her senior season.

On the club level, she qualified for nationals twice with DPL Nasa Top Hat. In 2024, she made it to ECNL Nationals with Atlanta Fire United.

Dorsey will join the Owls for the spring season.
