KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State Men's Basketball plays its first road game of the season on Saturday with a 1 p.m. contest at Florida A&M in Tallahassee. The game will be steamed live on SWAC TV, which is available at tv.swac.org, as well as though their app available on phones, tablets and smart TVs.

A FEW NOTES
♦ The Owls are looking for a 2-0 start to the season for the first time since the 2020-21 season after routing Paine College 105-29 in what set a new school record for largest win margin.
♦ Kennesaw State has always been a fast-paced team under Head Coach Antoine Pettway, and that's not changing in his third year at the helm of the Owls. KSU ranked in the top five in the nation in adjusted tempo in his first year, and currently is 23rd with 74.9 (possessions per 40 minutes).
♦ All-time the Owls are 2-2 against Florida A&M, though this is the first meeting between the schools since the 2016-17 season, which was also the second of two straight wins in the series for KSU.
♦ While Saturday's game is the Owls' first road game of the season, it also marks the home coaching debut of FAMU head coach Charlie Ward, who just recently had his basketball jersey retired at nearby Florida State. Ward played in the NBA from 1994-2005, and prior to taking the FAMU job he was head coach for Florida High in Tallahassee from 2018-2025.
♦ In addition to the three home games, the Owls will play a total of four games this month in the Sunshine State. Along with Saturday's contest at Florida A&M, the Owls will return to the state during Thanksgiving Week to play in the Geico Coconut Hoops event, a MTE hosted by former Atlantic Sun Conference rival FGCU in Fort Myers on Nov. 24-26. KSU will open the event against the Rice Owls on Nov. 24 and another neutral battle against Oral Roberts on Nov. 25, before facing off against the host FGCU Owls on Nov. 26.
