KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State Volleyball closes out its home schedule with a Senior Weekend series against UTEP on Friday and Saturday at VyStar Arena. Friday's game is set for a 7 p.m. start, while Senior Day on Saturday will began at 1 p.m., following a pregame ceremony for the four Owl seniors (Maggie Butkovitch, Caroline Chastang, Leah Freeman and Manu Johnsen.
-Both games will be streamed live on ESPN+.
- The Owls are on fire, having won ten of their last 11 contests, including seven straight. That run has helped the Owls become one of four teams to separate themselves from the rest of the pack, as Western Kentucky and Friday's opponent UTEP are currently in first place at 11-1, while KSU and FIU are just one game behind at 12-2. That leaves this weekend as key contests for both the Miners and the Owls, who have already clinched spots in the postseason tournament but are looking for as high a seed as possible.
 - KSU's current seven-game win streak is the longest for the team since a 12-game streak near the end of the 2021 season, and is tied for the 24th longest active streak in the nation as of Nov. 6.
- KSU has been steadily improving offensively each time out, and now rank 57th in the nation in hitting percentage as a team at 0.250, one of its highest in years and currently the fourth best in CUSA.
- It's a strong year for the conference in the national RPI rankings, as UTEP has appeared in the top 25 several times and is 24th this week while Western Kentucky is currently at 38. The Owls meanwhile are the fourth-highest team in CUSA at 102, while FIU is 91.
- The Owls are deadly behind the service line, ranking 19th in the nation with 1.93 saps.
