• Kennesaw State football wraps up the regular season on the road when it heads to take on Liberty at Williams Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 29. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. and will be broadcast nationally on CBS Sports Network.
• Kennesaw State is looking to finish the regular season strong and clinch a spot in the 2025 Conference USA Championship Game on Friday, Dec. 5.
• The Owls earn a spot in the CUSA Championship Game if they win on Saturday or if Jax State defeats Western Kentucky in their regular-season finale.
• Kennesaw State and Liberty have faced off four times, dating back to 2015, and have split the series record 2-2.
• The Owls got the 27-24 upper hand on the Flames last season, snapping Liberty’s then-18-game regular season win streak and earning KSU its first FBS victory in school history.
• Kennesaw State is riding the momentum of a thrilling home finale where it defeated Missouri State 41-34, setting multiple records, including passing yards for the second-straight week.
• In seven conference games, the Owls lead the league in scoring (32.6) and are second in points allowed (20.8).
• Kennesaw State continues to be a force in the trenches, ranking second in Conference USA in both sacks allowed (1.45/game), as well as second in team sacks (2.36/game) and tackles for loss (2.36/game).
• r-So. QB Amari Odom was named the Davey O’Brien Award National QB of the Week and CUSA Offensive Player of the Week after setting the school records in passing yards (387), total offense (419), passing TD’s (5) and total TD’s (6).
• r-Sr. WR Gabriel Benyard has recorded 100-yard receiving in back-to-back games to give him four games overall in 2025, which is tied for sixth-most in the country and leads Conference USA. He joined Fr. WR Clayton Coppock in hauling in multiple touchdown receptions last week to make KSU one of only 12 FBS programs this season to have two receivers record multiple TD’s in a single game.
• r-Sr. LB Baron Hopson crossed 100 tackles on the season (104), continuing to be one of the best defenders in Conference USA. He finished with eight stops last week and recorded his first career interception.
