Top Storylines:

• Kennesaw State football returns to Walens Family Field at Fifth Third Stadium for its final home game of the 2025 campaign, playing host to Conference USA newcomer Missouri State on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. on ESPN+.

• Kennesaw State is looking to rebound from its first Conference USA loss in 350 days and its first loss overall in 70 days, a 36-25 road defeat to Jax State on Nov. 15.

• The loss to first-place Jax State snapped the Owls’ seven-game win streak, which was good for longest in Group of Five. It also snapped its five-game CUSA winning streak, which was good for seventh in FBS.

• Kennesaw State set the program record for single-game passing yards (362) against Jax State, while also setting the record for most total yards of offense against an FBS opponent (579).

• In six conference games, the Owls lead the league in points allowed (20.8) and rank third in scoring (31.2).

• Kennesaw State has five different players this season with at least 150 rushing yards and multiple scores, tied for most in FBS (Air Force, Navy).

• Overall, the Owls rank fourth in CUSA with 166.5 rushing yards per game.

• Further winning the battle in the trenches this season, Kennesaw State co-leads Conference USA in sacks allowed (1.10/game) and team sacks (2.50/game), also ranking top-30 nationally in both categories.

• r-Sr. WR Gabriel Benyard recorded 100 receiving yards last week (his third time eclipsing the century mark) to break the single-season program record for receiving yards (668).

• Leading CUSA, only nine Group of Five receivers have more 100-yard receiving games than Benyard.

• Fr. WR Clayton Coppock also hauled in his third receiving TD of the season, ranking ninth among freshman wideouts nationally.

• With r-Sr. LB Baron Hopson’s seventh 10-tackle game, he remained in sole possession of second in CUSA for total tackles (96), also ranking 14th in FBS.

• Meanwhile r-Sr. DL Tylon Dunlap recorded his fifth sack of the season last week, which ranks third in CUSA (.56/game).
