KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State's
Manu Johnsen has been named to the Conference USA Volleyball All-Academic Team for the second straight year, the conference office announced on Friday.
Johnsen, a senior outside hitter from Copenhagen, Denmark, has been one of the top offensive players in the nation this season, and currently ranks in the top 50 in the NCAA in both kills (4.18) and points (4.86) per set. She has paced the Owls to its current fourth-place standing in CUSA with an 11-4 record (17-6 overall), and recently set the school's all-time career kills record, currently standing at 1,553 in her four-year career.
She has also always excelled in the classroom and this year is no different, as she holds a current cum GPA of 3.94 while majoring in biology, with a minor in data science and analytics.
