Top Storylines:

• Kennesaw State football looks to keep rolling and defend its undefeated home record (3-0) as it hosts LA Tech in a first-place Conference USA battle on Thursday night at Walens Family Field at Fifth Third Stadium.

•  Early into CUSA action and entering Midweek CUSA action, there’s currently a four-way tie for first place -- Western Kentucky (3-0), LA Tech (2-0), Kennesaw State (1-0) and Jax State (1-0).

•  The Owls are currently riding their first three-game winning streak since 2022, capping the streak the last time out with a 24-16 home victory over Middle Tennessee on Sept. 27.

• Kennesaw State once again jumped out to a fast start, pouring in 21 points in the first quarter for the second-straight week.

• r-So. QB Amari Odom continued his strong play, finishing 11-of-17 for 162 yards and two passing touchdown s.

•  Kennesaw State had three touchdown targets through the air in Sr. RB Chase Belcher, r-Sr. WR Gabriel Benyard and Gr. TE Gerard Bullock Jr.

• Bullock’s came on a double pass from wide receiver r-Sr. Christian Moss to open the Owls’ fast start -- the first for Bullock as an Owl and the first TD pass of Moss’ career.

• On the defensive side, r-Sr. LB Baron Hopson turned in double digit tackles for the third time this season - recording 11 against MTSU.

• His 46 tackles for the season rank second in Conference USA and are the second-most by an Owl all-time through five games of the season.

• Earning Conference USA Defensive Player of the Week honors, r-Sr. DB Caleb Offord was sensational in coverage.

• Offord finished with five tackles (1.0 for loss) and three pass breakups, smothering MTSU and breaking up two passes on the final drive of the game to secure the win.

• Offord has emerged as one of the top defensive backs in the country, ranking third nationally in passes defended (breakups and interceptions) with a whopping eight in 2025.
