EL PASO, Texas – Despite leading at half, Kennesaw State women's soccer conceded two second-half goals against UTEP for the 2-2 draw.
Brenna Young has scored in back-to-back games and
Rebecca Womer tallied her team-best fourth goal of the season.
Coach Chris Cahill's Remarks:
"I thought we had great effort tonight and it led to being up two at half," Cahill said. "We were strong in both boxes in the first half, unfortunately it wasn't consistent enough throughout and a few things went UTEP's way in the second. The mentality we asked for was there tonight and picking up a point in El Paso is something that will help us prepare to fly to the other side of the country and take another step towards qualifying for the conference tournament."
