DALLAS – Senior Raelyn Prince was named to the CUSA Third-Team All-Conference, announced by the league office Friday afternoon.

The postseason accolade is the first of Prince's career and extends KSU's 21-year streak of having an all-conference selection.

The Titusville, Fla. native seamlessly made the transition from midfielder to defender, anchoring the KSU backline. Despite the added defensive responsibilities, Prince tallied a career-high eight points (three goals and two assists).

She scored the 77th-minute equalizer for the Owls against North Florida, helping the Black and Gold secure their first draw of the season.

Against Tennessee Tech and Georgia Southern, she played all 90 minutes as KSU recorded back-to-back clean sheets.

Prince assisted two goals and scored one herself in the Black and Gold's 7-1 victory over Alabama State.

On her senior day against Jax State, she celebrated with her third goal of the season as KSU won its first CUSA match.

Prince started 15 matches this season, logging 90 minutes in 10 straight contests.
