Lee Earns Owls’ Third CUSA Offensive Lineman of the Week Honor

10/27/2025 1:00:00 PM

KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State football's left tackle JaDarious Lee was lauded for his performance in the Owls' 45-26 thumping of FIU, getting named Conference USA Offensive Lineman of the Week, the league announced Monday. It marks the third CUSA Offensive Lineman of the Week award for KSU this season.

The weekly awards are voted on by a panel of the league's media.

JaDarious Lee – Conference USA Offensive Lineman of the Week
Lee helped pave the way for Kennesaw State to win its fifth-straight game and third-straight Conference USA matchup as the Owls rolled up 498 yards of offense, including a season-best 225 yards on the ground (not including victory formation) – the most rushing yards for a CUSA team in Week 9.

The Nashville, Tenn. native helped the Owls' frontline did not allow a sack all game and did not have a negative rush between the tackles the entire game, averaging a gaudy 5.2 yards per carry, en route to KSU's most points against an FBS opponent in program history (45).

Lee, himself, posted top-10 grades in both run blocking (64.5) and pass blocking (81.2), according to Pro Football Focus. In 60 snaps at left tackle, he did not surrender a single sack, QB hit, hurry or pressure in the backfield.

Lee and Kennesaw State's offensive line have been sensational this season in protecting the quarterback. The Owls lead Conference USA with only eight sacks allowed this season, but through three games of CUSA-only action, KSU has allowed just one sack to top the conference. Kennesaw State is one of just 15 teams in FBS to start the same five offensive linemen every game this season and is one of just five programs in Group of Six conferences.

Lee and the Owls return home for a highly anticipated, nationally televised matchup against UTEP on Tuesday, Oct. 28. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. and will be broadcast live on ESPNU and the KSU Owls app.

Fans only have two more opportunities to see the Owls at Walens Family Field at Fifth Third Stadium with the next being on Tuesday, Oct. 28 at 8 p.m. Owl Nation can purchase tickets by heading to KSUOwls.com/tickets or by clicking HERE!
