KENNESAW, Ga. – Friday is 90's Night at Kennesaw State Volleyball, so break out your scrunchies, flannel, and neon, the Owls are throwing it back to the raddest decade! Join us for a totally tubular night of volleyball action, retro vibes, and throwback fun as the Owls take on Delaware with a 7 p.m. game on Friday night, and a Saturday afternoon contest a 1 p.m. Both games are in VyStar Arena, and will be streamed live on ESPN+.

- The Owls are on fire, having won six of their last seven contests to move into a tie for third place in the Conference USA standings at 6-2. To keep the momentum going, they will look to extend their current four-game home win streak this weekend when they face Delaware for the first time in school history.

- KSU has been steadily improving offensively each time out, and now rank in the top 50 in the nation in hitting percentage as a team at 0.253, one of its highest in years and currently the fourth best in CUSA.

- It's a strong year for the conference in the national RPI rankings, as UTEP has appeared in the top 25 several times while Western Kentucky is currently at 49. The Owls meanwhile are the third-highest team in CUSA at 91, right ahead of Liberty (92).

- The Owls are deadly behind the service line, ranking 18th in the nation with 1.97 saps.

- A year ago, the story about the Owls was the youth movement as they were routinely playing five freshmen each game, easily the most under Head Coach Keith Schunzel's first 12 years in Kennesaw. Now, it's about an experienced KSU squad that is picked in the top four in Conference USA with sights on challenging for the league title, as the Owls return the most players from their 2024 squad as well as the most productivity of any team in the nation.
