KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State's
Shannon Harrington has been named to the 2025 Atlantic Sun Preseason Women's Lacrosse team, the league office announced on Tuesday morning.
This is the first-ever preseason recognition for Harrington, and she is the first Owl to be selected to the ASUN preseason team since Siene Gore in 2022.
Harrington, a junior midfielder from Port Jefferson Station, N.Y., is one of the top offensive threats in the ASUN. She is the Owls' top returning goal scorer, as she was second on the team and ranked in the top 10 in the conference with 46 goals, and her 50 total points are also the most of any returning Owl. She posted nine hat tricks a year ago, including a run of 10 goals over a two-game stretch against Stetson and Liberty.
Harrington and the Owls will start the 2025 season on the road with a pair of games in the Sunshine State. First will be the season opener on Friday, Feb. 7 at South Florida, followed by a Sunday, Feb. 9 contest at Florida.
