KENNESAW, Ga. – Basketball season is just around the corner, which means it's time for your first chance to meet this year's Kennesaw State men's and women's basketball team as the 2024 Owl Madness (presented by COUNTRY Financial) will be held on Thursday, Oct. 10. For the second straight year, the preseason basketball event will be held inside the Convocation Center, with doors opening at 6 p.m. with the event slated to start at 7 p.m. Attendance is free.
Owl fans can expect to see team scrimmages from both teams, skill and shooting contests, as well as the always popular dunk contest. Free t-shirts for the first 1,000 fans in attendance, posters and prize giveaways will also be available as second-year men's basketball head coach Antoine Pettway and fourth-year women's basketball head coach Octavia Blue will introduce their 2024-25 squads. KSU Cheer and Scrappy will also be in attendance. There will also be student contests and a poster autograph session with more to be announced soon.
