KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State has officially announced its full slate of specialty dates and promotions – including Homecoming and Family Weekend – for the 2024 football season.
The specialty dates and promotions for the Owls' six-game home schedule include:
Sept. 7 vs. Louisiana

First Home FBS Game

Be on-hand for the home opener as Kennesaw State hosts its first home FBS game in school history. More than 2,000 first-year students will be able to lead the football team onto the field for the first home game as part of
FLIGHT28. At halftime, fans will also be able to enjoy a fireworks show right from their seats!

In the inaugural Conference USA game at Fifth Third Stadium, all fans are asked to wear BLACK to turn the lights out! The Kennesaw State and Jacksonville State bands will also unite pregame to perform the national anthem.

Kennesaw State Athletics will honor and recognize all active-duty U.S. military and veterans and local first responders for their dedication and everything they do to keep our country and community safe and secure. Youth Cheer Clinic
For the final home game of the 2024 season, Kennesaw State athletics honors its senior football student-athletes that have represented the university so well on and off the field. The Owls will also host a youth cheer clinic at halftime.
The Owls' preparation for the 2024 regular season begins on Wednesday, July 31 as they kick off fall preseason camp. Kennesaw State will hold 15 practices during fall camp before transitioning to its in-season game-week routine.
