KENNESAW, Ga. – Single-game ticket sales for Kennesaw State's 2024 football season are now available for purchase. The Owls will play their first season as members of Conference USA and the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) this fall with a 12-game slate, including six home games.
The first FBS home game for the Black and Gold will be under the lights inside Fifth Third Stadium against the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns, set for Saturday, Sept. 7 at 7:00 p.m. on ESPN+.
KSU's Homecoming game versus the UT-Martin Skyhawks is Saturday, Sept. 28 at 6:00 p.m. The Owls are 8-1 all-time in Homecoming games.
Conference USA debuted weekday games on national television last year with well-received publicity for its schools, and KSU is scheduled to host a pair of nationally-televised games in October.
The Owls play host to Jacksonville State Friday, Oct. 4, and Liberty Wednesday, Oct. 23. Both games begin at 7:00 p.m.
The Jax State game marks KSU's inaugural Conference USA game. An electric environment is in store for Friday night as the two rivals meet for the fifth time in series history. The Gamecocks enter 2024 after winning an overtime thriller against Louisiana in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl.
KSU and Liberty are not strangers as they met three times as members of the Big South Conference. The Flames secured the 2023 Conference USA Championship with an undefeated regular season and appeared in the VRBO Fiesta Bowl against No. 8 Oregon.
KSU hosts a pair of Saturday CUSA games in November starting with a Nov. 16 matchup against Sam Houston. The Owls eye their first win against the Bearkats after the team fell on a last-second field goal in November. Both previous matchups were held at Sam Houston and were each decided by one score.
The final home game for the Owls is against FIU on Saturday, Nov. 23. The Panthers are entering year three under Mike MacIntyre, who previously was the consensus 2016 national coach of the year.
Both November contests start at 3 p.m.
2024 is also highlighted by the highest-ranked recruiting class in program history this past winter and the promotions of Greg Harris to defensive coordinator and Chandler Burks and Stewart Cook to co-offensive coordinators.
