DALLAS – Kickoff times and television selections for Kennesaw State's first football season as a member of the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) and Conference USA have been revealed, the league office and TV partners announced Thursday. Four nationally-televised games and KSU's Homecoming date highlight an important announcement from the conference.
All times listed below are in the eastern time zone.
The first FBS home game for the Black and Gold will be under the lights inside Fifth Third Stadium against the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns, set for Saturday, Sept. 7 at 7:00 p.m. on ESPN+.
KSU's final non-conference game versus the UT-Martin Skyhawks will air on ESPN+ with a 6:00 p.m. kick at home Sept. 28. The Saturday night matchup is set for KSU's Homecoming game where the Owls are 8-1 all-time.
Kennesaw State's first three CUSA showdowns against Jacksonville State (Fri., Oct. 4), at Middle Tennessee State (Tues., Oct. 15) and Liberty (Wed., Oct. 23) will be broadcast on the CBS Sports Network. The Jax State game is scheduled as the first national television broadcast of a KSU football game from Fifth Third Stadium. The JSU and Liberty home games will kick off at 7 p.m., and the road game at MTSU will start at 8 p.m.
ESPN2 will air the Kennesaw State at Western Kentucky clash on Wednesday, Oct. 30 for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff.
The final two games inside Fifth Third Stadium this fall versus Sam Houston (Nov. 16) and Florida International (Nov. 23) are both set for 3:00 p.m. on an ESPN platform.
The Owls' trip to UTEP Saturday, Nov. 9 will kick off at 4:00 p.m. and their 12th game of the 2024 slate at Louisiana Tech (Nov. 30) will be broadcast on an ESPN platform as well. The regular season finale is set for a 3 p.m. start.
KSU's FBS era gets underway from the Alamodome with a 3:30 p.m. kickoff against UTSA on ESPN+.
A kickoff time and network for the Owls' contest at San Jose State (Sept. 9) is to-be-determined.
ESPN reserves the right to move a game to a linear network at least 12 days prior to kickoff. Games listed as being broadcast on an ESPN platform could be moved to ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNNews, ESPNU or ESPN+.
