Clarksville, TN - The Kennesaw State women's tennis team concluded their first match of the two-match weekend against Austin Peay. The Owls fell 6-1 to the Governors Friday afternoon.
How It Happened
The Owls began the competition by securing the doubles match point.
Sofia Madrid and
Izabelle Persson defeated Luca Bohlen and Jana Leder, 7-5 on court two. While
Sophia Unger and Ivana Gresvoa defeated Asia Fontana and Yu-Hua Cheng, 6-3 on court three.
The Governors were able to pull away in singles competition securing six single wins to claim the match.

Kennesaw State will continue their season on the road in Louisville, KY on Sunday, Apr. 7 to take on Bellarmine at 10 a.m.
