Important Details Announced for April 19 Spring Game

KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State Athletics has announced details for its upcoming spring football game April 19. The contest will begin at 7:00 p.m. inside Fifth Third Stadium.

KSU is preparing for the move into the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) and Conference USA for the 2024 season.

Admission

Admission is free for the event and all seating will be under a first-come, first-serve basis on the west side of the stadium. Superior Plumbing Gate A on the southwest corner of the stadium is the only entrance for the event and opens at 5:30 p.m.

Concessions

Concessions are available for fans throughout the game. Fifth Third Stadium is a cashless venue.

Parking

Yard Sale

A unique opportunity for Owl fans to purchase official team-issued merchandise will take place when gates open (5:30 p.m.) inside the course. Fans can own their favorite team's jerseys, shirts, shoes, and more adidas gear during the Spring Game. Only credit or debit cards will be accepted for payment.

Owl Town

Owl Town, a free tailgate for KSU fans, will take place on the concourse level of the stadium when gates open at 5:30 p.m.

Student Tailgate

KSU students attending the game can enjoy a tailgate in the student tailgate lot. Click here to view a map, and here to RSVP.

Spring Game Scoring System

The 2024 Spring Game features a modified scoring system. For the offense, touchdowns award five points and field goals earn three points while extra points, explosive plays (12+ yard run or 16+ yard pass), third down conversions and fourth down conversions are worth one point each.

On the defensive side, five points are awarded for turnovers. Three points are tacked on after forcing a three-and-out. A defensive touchdown or holding the offense to a red zone field goal earn two points each while third and fourth down stops each award one point.

LD Clardy Award

During halftime the Owls and head coach Brian Bohannon will award the 2024 Ladarius 'LD' Clardy Memorial Impact Award to a member of the team that exemplifies LD's love for the game, the example he led on and off the field and his level of excellence.
 

Terrell Paxton was the recipient of last season's award and wore a No. 13 sticker on his helmet to honor Clardy's impact. Click here to learn more.
 

Clear Bag Policy

KSU's normal Clear Bag Policy is in effect.

Pick Your Seat

A select number of seats will be marked as available during the game. Fans can test these open seats and pick exactly where they want to sit for the season. To reserve an open seat, just return the form attached to the seat to the concourse sales table. Then, fans can create a payment plan with one of our ticket representatives!

Season Tickets

Season ticket renewals are available for the 2024 season by calling 470-578-OWLS or emailing Shawn Betz at sbetz1@kennesaw.edu. New season tickets go on-sale Friday, April 19.
