First Day Leaves Owls in Seventh Place in UNF Collegiate

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Owls finished day one in the Momentum Transportation UNF Collegiate in seventh place with a two-over 292.
 
The day was not finished for Kennesaw State as the Owls played all but the final few holes. They will finish up round two and roll into round three tomorrow morning. 
 
Although they are currently in seventh, three teams are tied for fourth at one-over and two teams are in second with a one-under team score.

Scoreboard
Lara Jecnik had a phenomenal day posting a one-under 71 round one score along with ending the day at five-under total through 15 holes in the second round. Her round two score stands at four-under and is sixth in the individual field.
 
Second on the team is Nyah Kelly and Sabrina Kim with both showcasing a one-over score before the stoppage. Both recorded an even 72 in the first round and are tied for 20th individually.
 
Bella Kil finished the first round with a three-over 75 and five-over score after five holes left to play.
 
Caitlyn Campbell-Nyman scored an 80 after round one and 11-over ending the day. Cameron Neilson left the day at 15-over.
 
The Owls were unreal on Par 5s with a circuit leading 11-under, two strokes better than the next closest team.

Tee Time
Starting at 8:30 a.m. ET, the Owls will finish round two and begin round three afterward.
