KENNESAW, Ga. - No. 3 Georgia (28-4) took down the Owls (10-22) Wednesday night with a 10-1 final at Bailey Park.
The runs poured in quickly for both teams with UGA accumulating four runs in the first inning.Â
Kennesaw State retaliated in the home half of the first inning with an
Ava Guzowski RBI single through the right side, scoring
Stella Henry. It would be the final run for the Owls but they would stack 11 runners on-base throughout the game.Â
The Bulldogs pounded four homers on the night and have been doing that to opponents all season long ranking top five in nation in home runs per game at 1.71.
The game marks the third ranked SEC opponent the Owls have faced with No. 2 Tennessee, No. 3 Georgia and #22 South Carolina.Â
Fans tourned out in droves with over 950 in attendence, the largest crowd of the season thus far.Â

The Owls will be back at Bailey Park as they contiute their ASUN trek versus Jacksonville with a Friday and Saturday double header.Â
