KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State women's lacrosse enters the final week of non-conference play as the Owls face Detroit Mercy in a road game on Tuesday at noon. The Owls will be looking for their sixth win of the year, while UDM is still searching for its first victory of the season in a game that will be streamed live on ESPN+.

A FEW NOTES

» KSU head coach Laura Maness, who recently reached the 100-career coaching victory milestone with the Owls' victory at Longwood on Feb. 24, spent five years as the head coach at Detroit Mercy. The school's all-time winningest coach, she led the Titans to four straight conference championship game appearances.

» The Owls have one of the top scoring offenses in the nation, as KSU currently ranks seventh in the nation with 17.25 goals per game (as of games played through Feb. 27). They also hold the number one spot for single-game highs in goals (28, 2/21 vs. Gardner-Webb), ground balls (45, 2/12 vs. Reinhardt), and draw controls (28, 2/21 vs. Gardner-Webb) while their 41 points against Gardner-Webb is the second-highest in the nation this year.

» KSU and Detroit Mercy have met seven times on the lacrosse field. UDM currently leads the series 5-2, while the Owls won the last meeting between the two, 22-15 in the 2019 season in Kennesaw.
