KENNESAW, Ga. -  Kennesaw State Women's tennis obtained its second consecutive ASUN Conference win with a 5-2 victory over Central Arkansas on Friday.

How It Happened
The Owls hit it off in a tight doubles competition to start the match. Sophia Unger/ Ivana Gresova (KSUW) defeated Konomi Miyakawa/ Seohyun Park (UCA) 6-1 to give Kennesaw the early advantage. UCA would clinch the point with wins on courts two and three. 
 
Doubles play was no speed bump for the Owls as momentum picked up in singles play. Kennesaw State gained five singles wins Central Arkansas to secure the victory.  Sophia Unger clinched the first singles match point for the Owls defeating Konomi Miyakawa (UCA) 6-1, 6-0. On court five was sophomore Izabelle Persson who brought home the second match point defeating Harune Shigemasu (UCA) 6-3, 6-1. The domino effect continued on court six, as Laura Nadaska defeated Ting-An Chen (UCA) 6-2, 6-2. Ema Baraniakova got the job done on court two taking down Nanoka Kazama (UCA) 7-5, 6-3 to clinch the win.. The Owls final point came courtesy of Sofia Madrid who defeated Sumomo Hamanaga (UCA) 6-2, 4-6, 6-1.
