KENNESAW, Ga - The Kennesaw State women's tennis team secured their third ASUN conference win over North Alabama by a score of 4-3 on Friday afternoon. The Owls advanced their win streak to five and remain undefeated in conference play.

MATCH RECAP:
UNA picked up two wins in doubles to secure the point. 

Momentum was quickly gained in singles play as the Owls fought against the Lions. Both teams were scoring points on both sides leading the teams to be tied throughout the match. Keeping their composure was the biggest factor when it came down to the last final points.

Sophia Unger picked up the first singles point for Kennesaw, defeating Valeria San Miguel Soria (UNA) 2-6, 6-0, 6-0. Obtaining the second point for the Owls was Sofia Madrid on court 3 defeating Kalais Going 6-2, 6-3.  Freshman Laura Nadaska took down Marta Torres Rodriguez (UNA) 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 on court six to tie the match at three.

 Sophomore Izabelle Persson clinched the victory on court 5 defeating Valeria San Miguel Soria (UNA) 2-6, 6-0, 6-0.

"I believed in myself the whole match which allowed me to come through with the win," said Persson.
