KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State women's lacrosse returns to action after a two-week break when it hosts Rider on Friday at 4 p.m. at Fifth Third Stadium. The game will be streamed live on KSUOwls.com.
A FEW NOTES
» Friday's game will also be just the third road game, and second outside the state of New Jersey for Rider, who has started the season with a 6-1 mark. KSU meanwhile is 2-1 on its home field, and 2-2 on the road thus far this season, which included a hard-fought battle at Vanderbilt in a 16-15 setback on March 2.
» The Owls have one of the top scoring offenses in the nation, as KSU currently ranks fifth in the nation with 20 goals per game (as of games played through Feb. 27). They also hold the number one spot for single-game highs in goals (28, 2/21 vs. Gardner-Webb), ground balls (45, 2/12 vs. Reinhardt), and draw controls (28, 2/21 vs. Gardner-Webb) while their 41 points against Gardner-Webb is the second-highest in the nation this year.
