KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State women's lacrosse opens the month with a Saturday road contest at Vanderbilt. The game will start at 1 p.m. (ET) and will be streamed live on ESPN+.
A FEW NOTES
» Kennesaw State is off to a strong start this season, as the Owls' 4-1 start was the for the first time in program history. Now following the team's second loss of the year vs. Mercer, KSU looks to get back on the winning side when they travel to Vanderbilt Saturday afternoon.
» This will mark the first of three away games this month for the Owls. KSU will also be travelling to Detroit Mercy on March 19 and Wofford on March 23.
» The Owls have one of the top scoring offenses in the nation, as KSU currently ranks first in the nation with 20 goals per game (as of games played through Feb. 27). They also hold the number one spot in the NCAA for single-game highs in ground balls (45, 2/12 vs. Reinhardt), points (41, 2/21 vs. Gardner-Webb), goals (28, 2/21 vs. Gardner-Webb), and draw controls (28, 2/21 vs. Gardner-Webb).
» KSU and Vanderbilt have met nine times on the lacrosse field. Vanderbilt currently leads the series 9-0.
